On May 17, 2012 while this man was at work and had the office door open, then turned around, and there was a sweet, but sad little Beagle gal. She was severely emaciated and loaded with ticks. He took her to a local vet clinic where they started check her over and trying to removed ticks.

This little hound like so many found herself out on her own and needed help. She picked the right place to drop by. Ten days after coming into that office, we brought Molly into rescue with us. She had internal parasites, tested positive for lymes disease, and is heartworm positive. So she got all of her vaccines, and has been on Doxycycline for the lymes and heartworm treatment. She has also been micro chipped.

Molly has now been spayed as well. Mid July she will have additional bloodwork done and an xray to determine the extent of her heartworm disease and decide on a treatment plan.

For now, she is doing awesome. She is very sweet and loving. Gets along with everybody. She rides great in the car. She is crate trained and has done great with her house training. She appears to have been in a home before. She does pull on lead when she starts sniffing. We are working on that. She enjoys getting a bath and being brushed.

She is going Saturday, June 16 to stay with a family and their Finnish Hound, Handsome Hank, until she finds a permanent home. This soul will make a wonderful family member.
